This is an insert / organizer for the Teotihuacan Deluxe Master Set, including the fifth player expansion. It supports premium sleeves (Dragon Shield matte shown in the photos), vertical storage, has no lid lift, and was designed to aid setup and teardown.
A primary goal of this insert was to make it easy to get the components out of the box without having to remove a large number of trays. To achieve this goal, there are two large in-box trays from which you can get many of the game’s components. The remaining components are then housed in only five other trays (two resource trays, a setup cabinet, a player tray cabinet, and a solo cabinet). With a box as deep as this one, I didn’t want players having to pull out layer after layer of trays, hence the cabinet setup. You can get what need from each and then return them to the box. This approach does require extra filament, as you need to print the cabinets and the trays within them, but I think the trade-off is worth it to make the game feel easy to set up.
Two large in-box trays to hold many of the setup components and permit to you remove them without removing trays from the box. The setup trays give you direct access to each of the component bags, the three types of cards, the altar tiles, the action boards, and the multi-player priest/priestess cards.
A cabinet with separate drawers to hold player components of each color.
A cabinet to hold the technology tiles and other setup components. I wanted to make it easy to browse the technology tiles, so the drawers slide out completely and the tiles are all visible. I suggest placing the wooden technology tiles on the top of each stack, as placing the cardboard tiles on top may cause them to shift around within the cabinet during storage.
