Uprising: Curse of the Last Emperor is a passion project from Nemesis Games, a cooperative 4x set in a post-apocalyptic world. The production quality is fantastic, and I wanted to get all that goodness into a single box. As luck would have it, I was able to fit everything (minus the extra rulebooks) in with only a small amount of lift. This includes the core box, Titans of the First Age expansion, Arch-Nemesis expansion, painted Curse miniatures, Allies card pack, Armory card pack, Blessings card pack, extra dice, and the deluxe components box.

**This insert was built for the 2023 printing of the game. Previous versions are apparently slightly smaller from a box size perspective. The box used for this insert measures 292x292mm LxW.**

Central to my goal was a storage solution for the standees that didn't involve taking them apart between games, and one that also served as an easy way to identify which enemy you need during play. After multiple iterations, I landed on a stackable/tessellating solution held in place with caps that accommodates all but the 3 largest standees. The standees are held in their respective brackets with a sliding lid. The three largest standees are placed in the Curse box.

The Titan faction does not include units, so their faction tray is separate from the “main” nine. I wanted to keep everything together for each faction, and the hero standees (for most cases) are stored in slots next to their feat cards. Some very wide Heroes won't fit properly, so simply place another standee in the slot to save space.

Another goal was to speed up game setup and teardown, and this is largely accomplished by placing the various trays directly onto your play area. The Items tray contains a slot for item market display, and once the faction/blessing/reference cards are pulled from the slots behind the Items, they no longer need to be accessed during the game. Chapter cards should be pulled during setup, and discarded Quests can simply be placed at the back of the card well.

All of the cards pictures are sleeved in GameGenic Prime Matte sleeves, so the card wells should support sleeves of any thickness.

I've kept both the deluxe and standard resources, each can be placed into their own resource tray. The bags that came with the game went into my Player Tray box.
